TRAM

Thanks to our central location, we are best reached by public transport. To protect our environment, this is our recommended travel option.

FROM BERN MAIN STATION:
At Bern main station, take streetcar 9 in the direction of “Wankdorf Bahnhof”. After 11 minutes and 7 stops, get off directly in front of the hotel at “Guisanplatz Expo”.

FROM WANKDORF STATION:
If you are traveling from Wankdorf station, you can reach us in 15 minutes on foot or in 5 minutes by streetcar. Take streetcar 9 in the direction of “Wabern” for 3 stops to “Guisanplatz Expo”. You only have to cross the street and you will find our hotel immediately.

ZUG

The closest train station is Wankdorf Station, located just one stop away from Bern’s main train station (Bern Hauptbahnhof). This makes it easy and convenient to reach our hotel from anywhere in Switzerland.

AUTO

We offer public parking facilities for our guests.

From the A1 motorway, continue straight onto the A6. Take exit 37 Bern-Wankdorf towards Bern-Wankdorf / Ostermundigen. Then, turn right onto Route 6 towards Papiermühlestrasse and pass a roundabout. Continue straight until you reach an intersection, then turn immediately left onto Guisanplatz Street. You have arrived at Novotel Bern Expo.

PUBLIBIKE

At Wankdorf Station, you can rent a PubliBike, including electric bikes (e-bikes), for just CHF 4.00 to CHF 5.00. Enjoy a quick, scenic 6-minute ride to the hotel by heading towards Wankdorf Center and then to Guisanplatz.

Conveniently, there is another PubliBike station right in front of our hotel where you can return your bike with ease.
